Tonight I was preaching about Obedience to God. I was noticing as I peached facing the front door, that there were lots of people walking outside, all going in the same direction.
Going back home from church we noticed that the new Catholic chapel, just 2 minutes walk from our church, was having an inauguration service. The place was full, as people where outside fellowshipping. Kayla, my oldest daughter (5 years old) starting asking questions, and our conversation is what I would like to share:
|
K- What is that daddy?
M- A church, but that church doesn’t preach the truth about Jesus being our Savior.
K- What do they preach?
M- That you have to be a good person to go to heaven.
K- What kind of church is it?
M- It is a Catholic church.
K- Oh, like the one that we saw up in the mountain that didn’t preach the truth either?
M- Yes, Kayla, there are a lot of churches here like that one.
K- Well, one doesn’t. Ours doesn’t! Daddy we need more churches like ours here so people can learn about God, because when we don’t know about God then we don’t do things right.
Praise God, she got a hold of the need in Spain. I think the only thing left to say is:
Luke 10:2 “Therefore said he unto them, the harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.”
