Prayer Requests

Please pray for Francisco and Alberto´s grandfather, his name is Francisco. He still has not accepted Christ as His Lord and Saviour and we pray that the Lord will soften his heart before it is too late.

Dear Brethren,

As we are writing we are enjoying a great time at our home church. We have been able to attend our annual super conference and it has been a blessing. We are being challenged through the word of God and are excited about the months ahead.

We had a wonderful Christmas with our family here in Alabama. During December we kept remembering the Christmas season last year in Spain. We were all expecting our son Sergio to come at any moment. This year it has been a little less hectic. We did miss all of the Spanish Chrismas traditions like going to see Christmas lights in Madrid, turron, los reyes, etc. We hope that you all also had a great Christmas holiday commemorating the birth of our Savior.

Last week we took part in the first missions conference of Iglesia Bautista Emanuel (Emanuel Baptist Church). This is a young church that was started by dear fellow missionary three years ago and last year they just brought in their first pastor. We were able to hear great messages from veteran missionaries. It was interesting; we were the only "rookie" missionary family out of the group. But it was great encouragement to be able to learn from these veterans. Brother Jorge Rocha from San Luis Potosi was the guest speaker and he was a blessing to us. He is a great friend of our family and we appreciate his love and friendship. We also want to thank Pastor Ramos for the opportunity to take part in this special conference.

We want to ask you to pray for us as we will be away from home for the next two months. We will be traveling to Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, Virginia, and North Carolina. We ask you to pray for safety as we are on the road. I will be traveling by myself during the month of March due to Ashley's pregnancy. The doctor recommended her to not travel after the third week of February. Please pray for me, I prefer to travel with the whole family.

Ashley's pregnancy is doing well. She had some test done these past weeks because of her high blood pressure but thank God that everything came back negative. By the way, last month we found out we are going to have a little girl. What a blessing! Please continue to pray for her as the due date (April 15th) is quickly coming upon us.

Please continue to pray for Sevilla, Spain. This is the area where we plan to start our first church. Pray that God would begin to work in hearts. Sevilla is a very spiritual dark place. It is the place where a great revival was about to start in Spain but the catholic church quickly quenched it through the Spanish Inquisition. Our prayer is that another revival will begin, but this time that it will spread throughout Spain.

We want to thank you for your prayers and your faithful support. May God bless you richly.

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers

Your Ambassadors in Spain,
