Colossians 1:28 - "Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:"
Prayer Requests
Please pray for Francisco and Alberto´s grandfather, his name is Francisco. He still has not accepted Christ as His Lord and Saviour and we pray that the Lord will soften his heart before it is too late.
Since
I wrote last, we have begun a new year!
It is always exciting to begin fresh and new, to set goals for the year
and try out best to keep them. I was
looking on the Internet to see what were the most common goals, and I found
what I basically expected. To lose
weight, to spend more time with family, and to get out of debt. But as a Christian I challenge you to set
goals that will not only matter for 2010, but also to set goals that will make
a difference for eternity. I encourage
you to draw closer to God and do more for Him in 2010 in regards to
soul-winning and missions.
The
end of 2009 was truly a blessing. We
were able to visit some churches in December, which is always a very busy time
for everyone. We were also able to spend
some time with our families. One of the
greatest blessings for me was to spend
time at my home church and take part in the ministries. One of the Saturdays, while I was home
knocking on doors, I met a young family.
The young man was telling me of his desire to change. I gave him the Gospel and invited him to
church. He said he would come and on the
very next day there he was at church! He
saw me from a distance and waved at me with a huge smile. He was excited to be there and he did not
come alone, he brought his family. After
preaching that Sunday, I got to lead Edgar to Christ. How exciting it is to see people come to
Christ knowing that it is the best decision someone could ever make!
The
year has started off great. We started off on January the 10th with
our first meeting and basically have a full schedule until the month of
July. Please pray that God will help us
fill all of 2010 with meetings. Pray
that God will give me wisdom and His blessing as I call to schedule the second
half of the year. I believe God leads me
to churches to raise support but also to be a blessing and a challenge to the
churches I visit in regards to missions.
This is exactly what we want to do.
The picture at the bottom says
"God does not exist, stop worrying and enjoy life." I wanted to share this with you as I have
with some churches I have visited. This is an ad that the atheists have
put on their public buses. I believe
this describes what Spain is becoming more and more throughout the years. We want Spain to hear the truth that there is
a God, and that one day they will have to meet Him face to face. There is truly a work to do. Please pray that God will supply our support
as we desire to be in Spain as soon as possible.
