Brethren in Christ,

I begin this prayer letter by praising and thanking my God for his goodness and mercy toward my family and I.  We can now say that the countdown to our  arrival in Spain has begun!  I was looking through my calendar today and Lord willing in less than 5 ½ months we will be departing for Spain.  We are thrilled about the opportunity to invest our lives for the Gospel in Spain.

The last two months have been very busy for us.  It began by leaving our Home on May 31st to visit Churches in Wisconsin mostly.  We spent most of the month of June up north.  The Lord was so good in protecting and providing.  We probably drove at least 60 hours on our trip.  For the first time in deputation we had our first major car problem, we praise the Lord the car broke down in between meetings while staying in Michigan.  We were in my wife’s hometown and a Brother of First Baptist Church of Bridgeport was able to fix the problem for a great price.  Also I thank the Lord for healing me physically.  For the last few months I had been feeling sick.  The doctor wanted to do some testing to see what was bothering me.  After praying for some time the Lord has healed me and now I feel much better.  Thank the Lord again for His care and that he has answered my requests.

In the month of July we were able to take part of our home Church Missions Conference and Vacation Bible School.  I taught the Spanish 9-12 year old class.  Praise the Lord we saw 7 children come to faith in Christ.  There is nothing more rewarding than making an eternal investment I received another blessing while on visitation one night.  I met a young man called Rosenberg.  You could tell he was searching and thirsty for The Truth.  I talked to him for a little and he requested a Bible.  Although I had one in hand I wanted to leave the door open to come back another day so I brought him a Bible later on and got to share the Gospel for a lengthier time with Him.  Praise the Lord he received Christ and now is being discipled.  There are still souls thirsty for The Truth!

In August-September the majority of our meetings will be in around the Southeast.  As of right now my wife will be travelling with me.  She is now at over 23 weeks of pregnancy.  Praise and thank The Lord Rebekah and Baby Girl Puente are healthy.  As of the end of July The Lord has blessed with about 93% of the needed support.  Please keep praying that the rest of the support will come in.
