We wanted to share with you all, and to ask you to pray, for a possible location that we believe God is opening up for the church here in Granada.  

It is for a building that we have found that is for rent with an option-to-buy.  It is in the neighborhood of Zaidin, and on the most recognized and busy street of this area of Granada (Avenida de Dilar).  The building is 97 square meters for 650 euros/month (the owner has come down on the price from 900 to 750 to 650).  From everything else that we have found for the area, and the fact that it is on this main street, it is an excellent price.  The other good thing about this building is that it will only require a coat of paint, removal of a false floor (it was used as a computer room before and has a false floor to hide the cables), and the purchase and setup of a nice sign in order for it to be ready for starting services.  

When trying to rent a locale (store-front), 4 times the price of the rent is due at the signing of the contract (650 for the first month, 650 for the rental agent, and 1300 in down payment-returned at termination of contract; total of 2600 euros/$3900).  Our  plan was to save money for this initial expense while we were in Gijon, but with the big drop in the dollar/euro transfer over the last year, we have not been able to save the necessary amount.  We are praying that God will supply this need so that we can sign the contract . 

Many of you have requested to be kept up-to-date with our prayer requests, and so we ask you to pray diligently with us as we seek God's direction concerning this locale.  We want to be in the exact place that God has for us; if Avenida de Dilar 61 is the place-praise God, if not, we know he has a better location for us.
