. . . a look inside SPAIN
Hard but not impossible!
Mark 10:23-24
And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
The growing materialism that controls most in the US also controls many men and women in Spain. Most Spaniards today don’t see their need of God. We have heard time and time again how that they have all that they need, they have their own “god”. But day after day, we pass those on the street, stand in line next to them at the store, and ride in the elevator with hurting people. All of the money, properties, or luxuries in the world cannot fill the void they carry each day.
There is one answer, one way, one truth, and one life—Jesus Christ! But just as in Jesus’ day, it is the riches they trust, not in the sacrifice of the Son of God on the cross of Calvary. But when their riches can’t fulfill that need and the emptiness is more than they can bear, the love of God remains available. He waits for those who are hurting to cast their cares upon Him.
How hard it is—but not impossible!
