Dear friends and prayer warriors

In the next couple of weeks we should be posting our latest prayer letters with everything that has been going on the last couple of months, but we wanted to let you know in advance of our latest blessing in the ministry here in Spain, a blessing that couldn’t have been possible without the many of you that are helping us to be here in Spain.

A few weeks ago, Bro. Joseph Contreras and I went door-to-door visitation as usual. We met a brazilian lady named Agda that said she grew up in church and had made a porfession of faith. We spent a long time talking to her and even met her husband, an Argentinian that professed not to believe in God at all.

My wife Pilar and Danielle Contreras went to visit her but were not able to find her at home. Finally last Thursday they found her at home and were invited in to talk to her. After talking to her for a while, she told them that she says she is a christian because she has grown up in church, but that she wasn’t sure she had ever been saved, that most of the things she did in church were because of other people. They spent there 1 ½ hours talking to her and presenting the plan of salvation to her. Well, she was very open to the gospel and ready to pray, when her husband came and interrupted the conversation. The ladies invited her to the ladies meetings that they have on Fridays. She promised she would be there the very next day and also invited the ladies to come back for prayer and Bible Studies. She was there the next day, and after the metting, my wife, Danielle and another lady talked to her for a while. After much talking about her spiritual needs, she bowed her head and prayed to Jesus for salvation. Praise God!!!

She came back to church on Sunday night and was excited about Danielle and my wife going on Tuesday for Bible Study. Please pray for her growth and also for her emotional needs. She has gone through a lot in the last 3 years. Also pray for her husband Ruben, who says he doesn’t believe in God. Pray that we will be able to talk to him about the Lord and that he may get saved so that this family can be His.

An extra blessing is that on Friday, after she had gotten saved, she told the ladies that right before they knocked at her door, she was feeling depressed and left alone. She was trying to listen to hymnals to see if they would confort her, but they didn’t. She was praying to God, and telling Him how she wanted to feel better and she couldn’t, how she had been praying and He wasn’t answering. She said at that same time, Danielle and my wife rang her bell and right away she knew it was them. My wife was able to tell her: “See, God listened to your prayers. You wanted an answer and He sent us to tell you about Him.”

Praise God, and thank you for using us to reach this world for Christ.
