Dear Brethren,
Just as a new year begins we are excited as we begin our ministry in Sevilla. We thank you for your prayers to God for us.
Official move to Sevilla
We were able to move in to our new home on January 3rd. We thank God for our fellow missionaries, Pedro and Charo Torres, as they helped us move to our home.  My brother and his family, who are our co laborers, arrived in Sevilla on January 10th and have already found a home. Thank God that both of our families have not had any trouble settling into Sevilla.
Visiting the contacts
As many of you know, we have a list of sixty contacts that we have made via advertisement on the internet.  As soon as my brother arrived in Sevilla we made visits to some of these contacts. So far, it has been difficult to find our contacts at home. The Spanish work week is very different from the United States. Most people work from 10 am to 8 pm with a 3 hour lunch time or siesta in between. We had better results finding people at home on Saturday. We got to speak to Jose Manuel. He is a strong Catholic, but has been doing a lot of research about us through our website. He said he did watch our gospel videos online and tried listening to some of the preaching messages. He told us to keep in contact with him. Please pray as we continue to visit contacts.
Church Building
We want to ask you to pray for God to lead us in finding a building. We need one as soon as possible so we can start inviting people to our services. We have had several people ask when we are going to start meeting. We have spent a couple of days seeing different store front buildings. We found a building that is in a great location and size, but would need a lot of work since it’s a fairly new building. To give you an idea, it only has ceiling, electricity and tile floors. We are still praying for wisdom and guidance about that building, but we are looking at more in case God may have another building for us. We desire to start having services by the end of February. Please help us to pray for a building.
John and Romans blessing
On Sundays, we have been driving an hour and a half to a church in Rota for services. A good friend of ours, Bro. Leo, is the pastor of the Faith Baptist Church. His church has donated a total of 6,000 John and Romans for us to distribute in Sevilla. They have committed to come during a weekend to help us evangelize Sevilla.  Also, a church in the Madrid area has also donated 7,500 John and Romans. They also told us they would eventually bring a group down to help us. That gives us a good amount of man power and ammunition to get started. We are also in the process of trying to get a shipment of an additional 30,000 John and Romans from Mexico for our initial gospel blitz. We are hoping to get this shipment in before the summer.  We have a total of five churches in Spain and one in the United States that have committed to come and help us evangelize.  Praise God! We have been handing out John and Romans to people that we are meeting while doing paper work or purchases or even while they come to install internet, electricity, or just about anything at home. We have noticed a great difference from Madrid in the way people are accepting the material. They are much friendlier and easier to talk to about the Bible.
New addition
We thank God that baby #3 is on the way.  Ashley is about 20 weeks pregnant and doing very well. Pray for Ashley and the new baby. Also, pray for Sergio as he has developed a condition in his left eye and has to see an eye specialist this month to try to find a solution.
We thank God for the opportunity to serve Him in Sevilla. We thank you for your prayer and support.

Your Ambassadors in Spain,
