Dear Supporting Churches and Praying Friends:
1 Peter 1:18-19 “ Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things… But with the precious blood of Christ…” Praise God for that precious blood of the Lamb of God that was shed for many for the remission of sins! But in a country of religious people that desire to know God, they don’t know that the only payment God is willing to accept to clean their sin debt was made 2000 years ago on the cross of Calvary. Nothing but the blood of Jesus can atone for the sins of the world. Praise God! That is the good news that Spain needs to hear!
Much has happened in the last months- God has been at work. Near the beginning of December, we found out that Pilar is expecting and the baby is due August 1st. We thank the Lord for this great news as we know that children are a heritage from the Lord and that the fruit of the womb is His reward. The Lord has also worked miraculously as we just found out that we have been given insurance to cover the entire pregnancy and delivery.
During November, God used Pinecrest Baptist Church in GA, to bless us tremendously during their missions conference. Among many needs and desires of our hearts; they purchased much needed tires for our van and a Bible Institute starter library of books and Sunday School material that will be a great help in the ministry in Spain. We thank God for the churches that He is allowing us to go to. Every one of them has been an amazing blessing to us and we just pray that we have been able to be a blessing to them also.
During December, we were able to spend a lot of time with my family as this, Lord willing, could be our last Christmas in the States before we leave for Spain. It was also great to be at our home Church a few services and get to spend Christmas day and New Years Day in the house of the Lord. January found us back in many meetings, although most were close to home (which was good for Pilar as she was sick much of December and January from the pregnancy).
We would like to thank you one more time for your faithful prayers and financial support. Also we would like to thank Calvary Chapel Baptist Church, Calvary Ind. Baptist Church, Mansfield Baptist Temple and Liberty Baptist Church for adding us to their missionary family. That puts us at 53% of our needed support. We Praise God for His provision. We can’t wait to be serving the Lord in Spain, and we know the time is close. May God keep blessing your Church for your faithfulness to Him.
