Here we will inform you of our current projects regarding the church planting efforts we want to begin in Spain. We will list our current goals and we will continue to add more as the Lord opens doors.  We believe the Lord has appointed the Local Church as the tool to reach theworld with the gospel. It is the responsability of every Local Church to multiply itself through church planting by sending forth labourers.That is exactly what we believe God has called us to do. We want to begin Indigenous Independent Baptist Churches who will saturate their city with the gospel and multiply. We also believe that local churches should not only have a vision for their city, but also for their country and the world. 

Remember, without the power of the Holy Spirit none of this projects, goals, or efforts will amount to nothing. Use this as a list to pray forus!

Church Planting in Spain

Currently Spain has some fifty churches located in twenty-five of the fifty provinces of Spain. Our goal is to plant churches in the areas where there are none. To begin this mission, God has placed in our heartsthe city of Sevilla. Sevilla is the largest city in Spain without an independent baptist church. 
 

Goals for Sevilla

Establishing an Independent Baptist Church in the City of Sevilla. We want to start a New Testament church that will emphasize the preaching and teaching of the Word of God . We want to start churches who will also support missions and will be active in the great comission. 
Begin saturating Sevilla through evangelistic efforts by gospel literature distribution; door to door visitation; evangelistic campaigns, advertisement in billboards, newspaper ads, etc; We will use every method that is within the biblical boundaries to let everyone know about the Gospel. 
Disciple new believers. We believe the most effective way to introduce a new babe in Christ to the local church is through one on one discipleship. As soon as a person gets saved we will follow up with them through a discipleship program that will teach them basic Bible principles such as baptism, daily bible reading and prayer, church attendance, tithe, and Biblical separation. This will in no means substitute a person from attending church and listen to the preaching of the Word of God.
Train men and women for the gospel ministry that will also go to other areas of Spain and the World and plant churches. We will emphasize World Missions from the very beginning. We believe that the every local church is responsible to reach the World with the gospel through the training of men and women who will carry the gospel to the ends of the World and also through the supporting of other missionaries. We pray that God will allow us to begin by starting churches in the suburbs of Sevilla. Sevilla has six suburbs with populations ranging from 35,000 to 122,000 inhabitants. 
Establish a Muslim Outreach Ministry and a University Ministry. The first two ministries we want to begin by our first term is the Muslim Outreach Ministry and the University Ministry.  
 -Muslim Ministry: During the first year that Alberto and his wife were in Spain God began burdening about the need of a ministry for Muslims. Spain has a total of 1.5 million Muslims and Islam is the second largest religion in Spain. We have three specific goals for this ministry: 1) Muslims would come to know Jesuchrist as their savior. 2) Men will be train for the ministry. 
 3) Men saved through this ministry will carry the gospel into their own country. 
 -University Ministry: One of the ways we want to evangelize young people in Spain is by offering Bible Studies within the University. The University of Seville is one of the largest universities in Spain with 70,000 students. We will have sessions that we believe will draw the interest of the University Students like creations seminars.  We will also offer weekly bible studies specifically for Chritian students. We hope this Christians will invite their unsaved friends . Ultimately our goal is that Students will get saved and will become part not only of this ministry but also of the local church in Sevilla.
