Prayer Requests

Pray that the dollar may get stronger against the euro. This situation is affecting a lot of missionaries and works here in Spain

On the 29 of September we went back to finish the town of Cangas de Onis. It was a blessing to get it done, knowing that maybe for the first time, every home in this town had received the news about the Gospel.
We were not able to talk to Mildred this time, she was off work, but a couple of weeks earlier we had gone to visit with some family and went to see her. She was there that time and we were able to briefly talk to her (it was a busy time at the restaurant). She told us that she received the things we had left for her and that she was very thankful for it. She heard, now we have to pray that she will receive.
Please, continue to pray for this town, that the seed that was planted would give fruit for His glory, and that God may lead us to the next town that will be done the last Saturday of October.
Thank you so much for your support, you are a part of the evangelization of these towns. We have received special offerings for this project and we praise God for your willingness to help.

Our third “Pueblo Project” was in Cangas de Onis on the 10th of July. We were very excited to go there for we have been able to visit this town a couple of times and we were able to make contact with a lady named Mildred. We will be coming back to finish the rest of the town in August. We went to the restaurant where this lady works. Although she was not there we were able to leave a Bible and a Bible Study about Salvation there with her brother that remembered us from last time.
This is a beautiful town of over 6,500 people with no gospel preaching church, but in the middle of the town stands proudly a Catholic Church showing, one more time, the dominant catholic background of every city and town in Spain.
Cangas is also a town very rich in history. Here is the official web page of this town where you can read about it if you are interested. It is in English http://www.cangasdeonis.com/ING_turismo_historia.asp
Please pray for Mildred that she would be interested in reading the information that we gave her and that she would want to keep having the Bible Studies; also that we may be able to see her and talk to her about the Lord when we come back. May the Holy Spirit start working in her heart that she may have a soft heart and a willing Spirit to listen and receive Jesus Christ as her Savior.
