Dear Praying and Supporting Brethren,
Praise the Lord for another two months of deputation! We don’t want to take for granted the Lord’s protection on the road and provision for all of our needs. He has blessed us more than we deserve and we praise Him for his goodness. It seemed like it had been harder for me to schedule meetings during the summer, but the Lord blessed and we were somewhere different every Sunday during the months of June and July. We were also blessed to see several new churches take us on since our last letter, which brings us up to about 58% on our support, to God be the glory. We are grateful for these churches that joined with us in the ministry in Spain. We don’t take their sacrifice for granted.
We have seen several people saved over the past two months. One of them was a lady for Spain. She lives in our area. I did not get to lead her to the Lord, but while we were out on church visitation on a Friday night, my dad gave us the news that this precious soul received Christ. My wife Rebekah got to share the gospel with two of her daughters but they have not trusted Christ yet. Please pray for these two young girls. It’s exiting when any soul comes to Christ, but it is special to me when I hear of a Spaniard coming to Christ. I also had the privilege to teach the 4th grade boys at our Vacation Bible School. We were able to see several 4th grade boys come to Christ. How precious it is to see these children come to Christ. To God be the glory!
Things will really be speeding up during the next couple months. Lord willing I will be able to take a trip to Spain in the month of August from the 16th to the 27th. I plan on spending some time in Sevilla where we believe God wants us to start a church. Pray that God will lead us in every step we take, and that our burden for the Sevillanos souls will increase. Also our schedule will get even busier especially in the month of September, please remember to pray for our safety on the road and for God to use in every church we are in. It is truly an honor to serve our God and Savior, we don’t take you prayer and financial support for granted.
